Furniture Connector Couch (Möbelverbinder)

I was searching for a budget-friendly and speedy solution to link together my two IKEA couch modules. This connector also proves handy for securing other furniture pieces to the wall or elsewhere. It's a rapid print of two components that can be disassembled after installation without requiring any tools. The parts can be resized in ratio using your slicer without any issues, but the actual size is quite convenient and perfect for a couch. Printing time is extremely fast. I printed all pieces with 100% infill to make them as robust and durable as possible. In use since a few months at my own couch and still working perfectly without any problems. The connectors can be mounted in any desired manner, whether sliding sideways out or horizontally. You must print both STL files; one fits into the other. It has a unique shape that centers itself on both axes. Mount the first piece, then slide the second one in and apply double-sided tape to the mounting surface only. After that, you'll need to attach the other furniture piece (in my case, it was a couch module) by sticking it to the double-sided tape and removing the loose connector piece. It should stick exactly on the couch where you need to mount it with screws. The two images are from an early prototype.
