Furniture Castor using 608 ball bearings

Furniture Castor using 608 ball bearings

thingiverse

A 3D printable furniture caster, based on three 608 ball bearings. I printed it in PLA with 608ZZ ball bearings. The ball bearings stay put due to the optimized gaps for my Anycubic Mega. I haven't tested it with heavy weights, so I don't know how much weight it will support. However, the PLA material is quite hard and may scratch wooden floors. To ensure the ball bearings remain in place, you should rough sand Part 4 until the axle can slide into the center of the bearing. If your print material is too thin to hold screws, then you'll need Part 5. This part was designed for use with a thin Ikea box. This caster was created using Tinkercad and can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/8YZpx4QaoMC.
