Furminator Handle
thingiverse
The Furminator pet brush has been an absolute game-changer. I've had mine for eight years, and it still functions like new - except for the rubber handle, which was starting to disintegrate.\r\n\r\nI took matters into my own hands and designed a simple replacement in Fusion 360 (the source file is included). It's not a work of art, but it gets the job done. The open end and lack of finger ridges make it a bit basic, yet effective.\r\n\r\nTo print this design, I used TPU with a 0.8mm nozzle and 0.5mm layer height. While it should also work with a standard 0.4mm nozzle and appropriate layer thickness, results may vary.\r\n\r\nFor maximum flexibility, I opted for 10% infill and Slic3r's "gyroid" infill pattern.
