Hello everyone! I'm really new to 3D modeling, but I figured practice makes perfect. So, I've decided to do a 'Model-A-Week' for an entire year and hopefully end up with around 52 models by the end of it. I know some of them won't be great and this one didn't turn out as planned, but I'm eager to improve and ready for the challenge! This model was just a warm-up exercise, nothing too difficult, especially since my only previous experience with UVing was a basic car in an intro 3D class. I'm happy with how the UV sheets came out and I like the simplicity of it. I do have some topology issues that need fixing, but I'm glad I started this project - sometimes just getting started is the hardest part! If anyone has suggestions for improvement or words of encouragement, please share them. Additionally, if you know any good tutorials, especially ones specific to Maya, I'd love to hear about them since I only have basic knowledge of it right now.
