I use sets of funnels with bigger bottom openings to make transferring goods into other containers like pint and quart canning jars much simpler. I store items like rice, beans, flour, sugar, and the like in glass canning jars to keep them fresh. When doing transfers, things often end up all over the counter for me. These funnels give me a bigger target to hit and the larger spouts don't back up; they just drop the items right in. I tried canning homemade sauerkraut and a large funnel made packing a quart canning jar easy as pie.
