You can easily create a mess when pouring ground coffee into a portafilter without a funnel, but this one comes equipped with a built-in distribution tool that makes the process much cleaner. After grinding your beans, give the portafilter a tap on the side to loosen any clumps, then spin the funnel in both directions to evenly distribute the grounds throughout. This ensures optimal flavor and prevents channeling during the brewing process. This funnel is specifically designed for use with the Lelit 57mm portafilter, which measures approximately 57.5mm in diameter. I've also included a Fusion360 file with adjustable parameters for the basket size to accommodate different grind settings.
