This tool is mainly useful for scale modelers who paint with acrylic paints and use ultrasonic cleaners for their tools, typically airbrushes, with some kind of solvent. I use an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning my airbrush and other tools using a solvent like IPA or methylated spirit. The solvent can be used multiple times, but it needs to be stored outside the ultrasonic cleaner to avoid vaporization and unpleasant smells. It also needs to be filtered between uses. I use this tool with coffee filters to pour off polluted solvent from the cleaner into a PET bottle. This way, I can use the solvent many times before it needs to be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. As well as using it for pouring off solvent, I use this tool for gathering waste and filtering solvent or water after cleaning brushes. Features: * The funnel fits securely onto a pet bottle screw, making it safe to work with. There is very little room for mistakes or leakage, and you don't need an extra hand. * A coffee filter size 4 fits perfectly into the funnel. I use cheap coffee filters as a substitute for chemical filters because they are affordable and easy to obtain.
