Funnel for 2 liter great for Filastruder / Filabot

1/7/2016 I uploaded STL files of the threaded funnel with male threads for those who prefer using it straight on their filastruder, also an optional coupler is available so you can attach that same funnel and use it like my modified one without printing out two. Thanks to; MrWhat - Creator of the PET Soda Bottle Coupler http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:897760 Emancipator - Creator of the hopper adapter http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:890734 I took the funnel which I liked but wasn't going to work for my application, yet I like the original idea of the funnel adapter that Emancipator designed! I removed the inner wall making it easier to print and reducing plastic/print time. I added the coupler from the other source PET Soda Bottle Coupler and created a threaded funnel! Now you can use the 2-liter bottles fill them up with 2 lbs and colorant, cap them, it makes it much easier to fill the 2-liter bottles, then you can tumble and shake to mix. You can store them and if you like put desiccant bags in the 2-liter bottles until ready to use I am working on an o-ring cap with a hook to attach a string to hold the desiccant or a cap that has a skinny cylinder to fit down the neck of the 2-liter that holds the desiccant either loosely or in packets. Printer Settings MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X No Rafts were printed. Printed without Supports. Printing Resolution was set to .27, adjust as needed! 10% Infill used to reduce printing time. Note: To ensure optimal print quality please orient the wide top of the printer downwards. How I Designed This I took the funnel that "Emancipator" designed and removed its inner area. Then I took the coupler MrWhat created cut it in half spliced them together PRESTO a threaded funnel was formed! I use this to fill 2-liter or even 1-liter bottles and works great. It also serves a second purpose, though taking more time is involved and requires extra effort. If you want to separate colorant for instance if too much colorant has been added the funnel holds an excellent static charge attracts the colorant really well allowing PLA pellets to drop (I have only used this with balls of PLA from os3dp may not work with other non-round pellets). It enabled me to successfully pour bottles back and forth between one bottle to another then dumping out attracted colorant is much better than pulling it by hand.
