Funky knobby knobs for fit on 8-32 or 4mm and 10-24 or 5mm threaded rod

These knobs were specifically designed for rods I created. To assemble, first prepare the rod by grinding or roughening its sides. Clamp the rod vertically while protecting its threads, and heat it using a torch or heat gun. You may choose to attach the knob first before placing it in an upright position. The rod is heated enough to melt the plastic just at the center, allowing it to conform to the threaded rod's flats or marks. Once cooled in the vertical position, your rod will have a knob on its end.
