This funky candle holder or small sculpture was designed using Autodesk's Project Shapeshifter, featuring primary geometry of squares and Z-axis rotation. However, it is essential to pay attention to wall thickness, as low quality prints can expose a fatal weakness at the narrowest point. The dimensions are 130mm H, 125mm W (top), 60mm W (bottom) and 30mm W at the thinnest section, located about 20mm above the build plate. A failure occurred during my print attempt due to low resolution settings and subpar filament. To achieve a solid object, consider adjusting shells and layer thickness or scaling down the design. Lighting a candle in this holder is not recommended due to its insufficient base and lack of inner support for the candle. The design's export feature allows you to select units and file type (.stl or .obj), but it cannot open previous files or import designs. To tweak the design, use the provided parameters as a starting point. Printing is easy: download the .stl, import into MakerWare or similar software, scale as desired, and print. If anyone successfully modifies the design, please share your software choice.
