Before it was visible on the corners of the FOV, at least with the falkor Mini 1.8mm.\r\nYou can connect the plug to the camera before inserting it into the mount if you have some slack in the cable. Before, you had to connect the plug after seating the camera and it was somewhat tricky due to the connector sitting deep in the foam and mount.\r\n\r\nLow drag FPV nose designed for Multiplex Funjet Ultra 2, fit for Foxeer mini cameras with 1.8mm lenses like falkor, predator 1-4, monster, and razer.\r\nThis nose also fits the regular funjet 2 and the old funjet and funjet ultra!\r\nCutting the nose off a funjet straight is not easy but I found a method that works great. First measure the nose with calipers set to 46mm and hold it as straight as possible between the ribs without compressing the foam.\r\nInsert a needle into one rib, then take a piece of string and insert a needle through it centered at the point of the nose. Hold the string against the needle in the rib and insert another needle through it so it protrudes less than 1mm through the string.\r\nSwivel the string around the nose poking holes around the nose. Insert needles into the holes you poked.\r\nI used a new razor to make a shallow slit through the laminate around the whole nose by supporting it against the needles, then I used a hacksaw blade and chopped off the nose. The laminate guides the blade.\r\nIf you haven't laminated the model, use some tape around where you want to cut the nose temporarily just to get support and guide for the hacksaw blade.\r\nRotate the models 90 degrees and click on lay flat like in the cura pictures.\r\nPrint the nose with supports everywhere and 20% support density. Also, use 20% support density with support brim, support roof, and support towers enabled on the LID.\r\nUse 4 walls and 20% infill or more on the nose and 40% on the LID. The lid also needs a brim. If supports fail on the lid, it seems to sort itself after a while.\r\nBefore installing the lid with the camera in the nose, make sure to insert and remove the lid a few times to loosen it up so it doesn't bind with the camera stuck inside.\r\nTo secure the lid to the nose, just lay a tiny bead of glue on top of the seam after the lid is fully seated. Then it's easy to remove the lid if needed…\r\nhttps://youtu.be/DqtrY_tukFw
