This is an ancient limestone funerary stele commemorating a woman named Timokypra. It originates from Gialia, a small village in Cyprus, dating back to the final years of the 6th century BC. The Cypro-syllabic inscription on this monument can be deciphered by reading it from right to left and reveals the names of both the deceased woman herself and that of her father: "This stele belongs to Timokypra, daughter of Onasikypros".
