Funerary stele decorated with a crown
thingiverse
Ancient funerary stele boasts ornate crown, circa 3rd century AD, hailing from Acmonia in Phrygia, carved masterfully from marble. Currently housed at the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire within Brussels' iconic Cinquantenaire Museum, Belgium. Utilizing Zephyr3D Lite software courtesy of 3DFlow. The door's decorative panels receive a concise treatment here, yet the entire door is set within an impressive vault supported by two sturdy pilasters and inscribed with the poignant epitaph: "Tryphon Gaïos and Onésime - preserve their memory". Beneath this inscription, a majestic crown takes center stage, while above, stylized rosettes and acroterres in the shape of palmettes add an air of sophistication.
