These enigmatic funerary stela serve as gravestones and tomb decorations, each sculpted in bas-relief with figurative depictions of the deceased person. The reliefs are incomplete without their accompanying text, leaving their identities a mystery. Two male figures appear in each relief, sparking speculation that they were either brothers or members of a brotherhood.
