Funerary statue of a dog crafted from Pentelic marble discovered in Piraeus. The animal faces right with its head oriented toward the viewer. As a standalone monument, this dog likely symbolized the loyal guardian of a tomb. A natural and lifelike presence is created by the sculptural treatment of the head and neck, as well as the front paw extending outward, all preserved alongside an oval plinth. This object is part of "Scan The World".
