Funerary altar for Minucia Suavis

This magnificent marble tombstone was consecrated by Tiberius Claudius Suavis in honor of his beloved daughter Minucia Suavis, a devoted wife to Publius Sextilius Campanus, who tragically passed away at the tender age of fourteen years, eight months and twenty-three days. Hailing from the esteemed Barberini Gardens, it was later relocated to Palazzo Sciarra in Rome.
