Functional Papercraft: The Laser Cut Takeout Box

This container is perfect for carrying small items thanks to its built-in handle, which surprisingly provides sturdy support. It also makes an ideal gift box. The design features a 2x2x4-inch size that can be expanded by printing it larger to accommodate bigger items; a square version is included as well. Interested in the original source files? This box was designed using Adobe Flash, my go-to software for rapid design. You can see more of my projects at 4volt.com. For assembly, you can use a laser cutter or simply print the design and cut it with scissors. To assemble, fold the vertical tab to the opposite edge, then fold in the bottom tabs before taping or gluing the bottom edge tab inside the box. Enjoy your new container!
