Functional Model Car
thingiverse
This project is still a work in progress, with the focus currently on creating the suspension. The final product will be a functional model car that can be equipped with a DC motor and an antenna for remote control. OpenSCAD will be used to create parametric parts in a printable format. For more information, check out the development repository at https://bitbucket.org/skeen/functional-model-car. To assemble the suspension, you'll need to print various components, including 2x bearing_arm_fitting.stl, 4x bearing_arm.stl, 1x center_frame.stl, and more. ISO threads can be replaced with non-printed parts if desired. For the differential, you'll require 1x side.stl, 1x Casing.stl, 3x Side_Gear.stl, 3x Shaft.stl, 1x Spider_Shaft.stl, and 1x Input_Pinion.stl, along with M3 x 16 bolts. Remember that the above parts list is not exhaustive and may be subject to change as the project evolves.
