Functional Micro Water Pump with Isolated Motor
thingiverse
A few revisions to repurpose the original design to repair the failed water pump on a Panasonic ES-LV95 cleaning station/charger: 1) Moved the output 90 degrees and added a reducer to accommodate the diameter of the basin fitting. 2) Added columns to provide distance between the motor and the pump. 3) Removed the intake fitting to allow proper clearance between the pump and reservoir. The distance between the motor and the pump via columns allows leakage from the pump to flow back into the reservoir, rather than creeping into the motor, thus preserving the motor from damage. Holes were drilled in the ES-LV95 case to allow for drainage (shown in images). The motor shaft was extended via a brass coupling connected to a spare motor shaft.
