Functional Cobra Buckle
thingiverse
This is a practical prop Cobra Buckle designed for cosplay costumes with 50mm webbing. --------------------------- Not suitable for climbing or safety use. Print out in separate parts and assemble them together to achieve a sleek outer finish; your build surface will have an impact on this result. Glass/kapton tape provides gloss, while blue painters tape offers a matte finish. The holes on this design are tailored for the tolerances of an FDM printer with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.3mm layer height in PLA. Printing time is approximately 1hr 15m, using 8540mm filament. There are two options available for the tongue piece: one includes a 5mm bar, while the other features no bar, allowing you to add your own cut out for a metal rod. Print Settings: Printer: Delta Kitset Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 20% Notes: The small spring pieces may present difficulties attaching them to your print bed; in this case, rafts or glue stick can be used to aid the bonding process. If the springs catch when compressed, cut a small piece of plastic from the tip. After printing, assemble the pieces together after performing a dry test fit. I recommend using cyanoacrylate (superglue) gel for PLA prints.
