Functional Bicycle

Functional Bicycle

thingiverse

This miniature bike, crafted for a 3D Printing final project, boasts movable handlebars, wheels, cranks, and pedals; spinning the latter spins the back wheel when a rubber band is added. Assembly involves some sanding, as all parts were created in AutoDesk and TinkerCAD. To assemble, supports must be removed from the handlebar, large cylinders connect cranks, chain-holding parts are glued to axels and wheels, small rods fit into pedals and cranks, and holes in handlebar and frame may need enlarging. Align the back wheel, attach a rubber band, and glue the frame halves with handlebar and wheel axel in place. Finish with left crank and pedal installation for a fully operational mini bicycle.
