
Funbot X-End 8mm with belt tensioner

<p>I didn't really like the way how the x-axis belt has to be tensioned using the stepper motor.</p> <p>With this design it is much simpler to get the right tension.</p> <p>Things you will need:</p> <ul> <li>5mm screw which has to be cut to the right length (see pictures)</li> <li>2x 5mm washers</li> <li>pulley</li> <li>3mm screw (should be around 30mm long)</li> <li>3mm washer</li> <li>3mm nut</li> <li>3mm wing-nut or normal nut with printed thumb-screw</li> </ul> <p>The pulley bracket might need some sanding to fit into the x-end nicely.</p> <p>I added pictures showing all required parts and the assembly.</p> <p>Please let me know if something is missing or not clear.</p> <p>Added a picture of the thing in action - works pretty well :-)</p> <h3>Print Settings</h3> <p><strong>Printer:</strong></p> <p>CTC Prusa i3 Reprap MK8 DIY</p> <p class="detail-setting rafts"><strong>Rafts: </strong> <div><p>No</p></div> <p><strong>Supports:</strong></p> <p>No</p> <p class="detail-setting resolution"><strong>Resolution: </strong> <div><p>0.25</p></div> <p><strong>Infill:</strong></p> <p>30%</p> <p><strong>Filament:</strong></p> EFORINK PLA <p>Blue</p> <p><br/> <p class="detail-setting notes"><strong>Notes: </strong></p> </p><div><p>The pulley-bracket should be printed lying flat - not in the orientation it is stored in the stl in.</p></div> </p></p> Category: 3D Printer Parts
