Fun "waka ama" handle for Orka Paddle half.
thingiverse
This handle is strictly an improvised adaptation, meant as a functional stopgap measure, utilizing part of an ORKA paddle shaft's length. Significant modification with 200-grit sandpaper will be necessary to create a removable and snug fit that securely seals the air lock compartment. The 'Think Again' label within the design represents a personal inside joke stemming from my own innovative work on surf skis created using the Kayakfoundry program, specifically the fibreglass and wooden strips method. The widespread presence of numerous 'Think' surfs in New Zealand has thus far discouraged me from replacing mine, which performs well in both calm and rough seas. It is intended to create a proper waka ama paddle design with enhanced grips at a future point; for now, these handle setups are merely used as playfully crafted additions.
