Better version of the card holder you submitted yesterday. When I get home, I'll show how I made it and my thought process behind some of the design elements. Hope the customizer view is clear and self-explanatory. edit 4/5 8:45 PM It turns out that if you set the $fn value high with a lot of circles, you get a lot of errors... sorry about that. It worked on my computer and just took a while. That should be fixed now. How I Designed This This all started with this mockup drawing Step 2: From there, I made a mockup in Inventor (I love that program!) and tried to make the name part customizable in OpenSCAD. It worked out! I was excited so I posted it, and it is what this was remixed from. Step 3: The SCAD file for this is based on advice I received which was to make more modular-based code so I can recycle code bits easier (aka the more I make, the less I have to re-make). There are still a few bugs with some of the advanced options so I hope to release a patch soon. Once I squash those bugs, I'll explain the code line by line.
