Fume extractor

If this design is useful for you, please like it and consider following me for more updates. This design is for a fume extractor, primarily for soldering fumes, but could be used for other ventilation purposes. I hope this will be of use to anyone just starting out with PCB assembly, soldering, miniature painting, or other uses! I use this on a daily basis to clean the air of particles from soldering and have a vent outside to allow the fumes to be evacuated outside the workspace. The design requires #10 self-tapping screws, filter mesh, 4-inch flexible hose, and a centrifugal fan, measuring 120mm x 120 mm x 35mm. The fan can be obtained from any electronic supply store and connected to the appropriate power. If more airflow is required an additional fan can be attached inside the filter head (MediumFumeHood). I finally got around to making a filter for the assembly which you can find here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4674914
