This is an upgraded solder fume extractor, showcasing significant improvements over the original model found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:724350 . The primary modification lies in the base (stand), which has been redesigned for enhanced stability through a lower profile and increased size. The fume extractor relies on 130mm x 130mm x 10mm carbon filters, specifically designed for use with HAKKO 491/493 fume extractors. To replicate this build, you'll need the following components: - Two 130mm x 130mm x 10mm carbon filters - A 120 mm 12V computer fan - One KCD1-101 switch - A DC barrel power jack similar to the PRT-00119 from Sparkfun - Four 6-32 screws measuring 1.5" in length (38 mm) - Four 6-32 nuts - Electrical wires for assembly Additionally, a 12V power adapter with a 5.5 x 2.1 mm plug is required to power the device. No support material should be needed during printing.
