Fume Extractor Hood

This hood is part of our fume extraction system for our Flashforge Guider IIS. While the Guider II has a filtered extractor it really isn't all that effective in eliminating the smell when printing ASA/ABS.There are two parts to this model, there's a locating frame that is positioned over the existing filter extraction fan outlet. We super glued it to the case. The frame is slightly bigger than the second part - the hood. If you have to remove the hood and put it back on it's not a tight fit, and the frame just locates the hood, it doesn't hold it. The hood is held in place by magnets - rear panel is metal. It uses the same size magnets as the Blanking Piece model - 5.5mm sq x 2.5mm high. They seem to do the job quite well.The hood is designed for a 2.5in (62mm) hose. It's not a tight fit and if you need more security there's a hole for a small screw that will prevent the hose coming out.
