I designed a portable fume extractor for soldering, utilizing a 90 mm computer fan and a kitchen fan carbon filter (48 mm) to effectively remove fumes. Powered by a 10 V Li-ion battery, the device is conveniently battery-powered. The cables from the fan can be easily routed into the lower compartment through a strategically placed hole in the right main part. Additionally, I incorporated a switch for easy on/off functionality. The left and right main parts feature a clever lip and groove design that allows them to fit together seamlessly.
