Fume extractor
thingiverse
A fume eliminator to extract hazardous vapors when welding or handling scorching plastic. This model demands a 120mm fan, a compact power switch, eight fan screws, a 120mm fan grille and some electrical cables (all from a discarded PC power supply). Also an active carbon filter and a 5.5mm power socket from AliExpress ("Activated Carbon Filter Sponge for Hakko 493 Solder Smoke Absorber ESD Fume Extractor free shipping" and "5pcs/lot High Quality Socket Female Panel Mount Connector 2.1mmx5.5mm Plug Adapter 2 Terminal types for DC Power Supply Jack"). And finally, a 12v power supply (found it in my drawer, not sure what it came with originally). It isn't attractive but it works. Screws and nuts were generated using "Nut Job" http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:193647 Designed with SketchUp, fixed with Microsoft 3D Builder, sliced with Cura and printed on a Robo 3D R1+.
