Fully-printed Festool 20mm dog hole clamp system
thingiverse
I was drawn to UltiArjan's sleek low-profile clamping system, but needed a fully-printed design compatible with standard 20mm dog holes. After some trial and error, I managed to get it clamping securely and releasing effortlessly - I think I've finally cracked the code! If you'd like to test the waters, a short spreadbolt, a spreadclamp, a couple of O-rings, and a nut will let you experiment with it. You can even use a metal M12 nut if you have one handy. Please note that due to licensing restrictions, you'll need to source the knob from this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2856279 A video showcasing how it all works is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TA4Ls0p2zI&feature=youtu.be (And yes, I could have simply used that shorter clamp bar instead of moving the stepblock back, but that's what happens when you try to talk and think at the same time!)
