Fully Printed Cord Stop (No Spring)
thingiverse
This design has been thoroughly tested to operate effectively with nylon and polyester circular rope having diameters ranging from 2mm to 4.5mm. The amount of force needed to release the rope is approximately 1.0-1.8kg, similar to that required by other mass-produced cord stops. To print this design, use a printer capable of producing PETG or nylon with supports in place. Due to its reliance on plastic flexibility, PLA, ABS, and glass/carbon fiber filled materials are unlikely to work as intended. I successfully printed the design using eSUN Black PETG. To ensure accurate wall thickness during printing, disable X/Y size compensation.
