Fully Printable Terminal Block Electrical Connector - V2
thingiverse
The terminal block has been significantly upgraded with all its components now capable of being printed in three dimensions. Each part is positioned on a 7.62mm (3 x 0.1in) spacing, mirroring the standard PCB pitch. Connection is established by running a piece of wire through the groove at the base. Wires measuring between 0.6 - 1mm are ideal for this purpose, and can also be soldered to a PCB. Note that the wire is folded into the groove below, leaving exposed bare wire above. This design choice was made to minimize part complexity and support requirements. It's recommended to cover the wire with insulating tape or similar materials. Creating an accurate slot in the screw proved challenging. A blank screw has been included so it can be manually slotted using a hand file. The terminal block components were printed at 0.2mm layer height on a UP printer. Most details print successfully, but some cleanup may still be necessary. Also included are step and 123d files for anyone who wishes to customize the design. Happy printing.
