Fully Printable Spring-Loaded Missile Launcher
thingiverse
This is a compact spring-powered missile launcher based on my printable spring design. The design doesn't have a trigger; instead, there's a small hole at the back of the launcher where you can tie any thread or wire to pull it down to fire. This setup allows for easy integration into a larger design that will activate the launcher. I printed the launcher in PETG material, using no supports and no infill, with three shells, 1mm top and bottom layers. The spring was designed in OpenSCAD, while the launcher itself was created in SketchUp, and the STL file was edited with Microsoft 3D Builder. Finally, it was sliced in Cura before being printed on my Robo3D R1+ 3D printer.
