Introducing a fully functional padlock featuring a detachable shackle and an authentic five-lever tumbler mechanism. This isn't a joke; it opens exclusively with the correct key or by lockpicking. Watch it in action here: http://youtu.be/yzBI0HB2o-I. For printing, use fine settings like 0.20 layers and 0.36 track width. An update is available for easier tumbler printing as individual STLs. The included key works with tumblers 3, 7, 4, 0, and 2 from the bottom up. To assemble, start by inserting the bolt into the body, followed by the tumblers. Check that the key operates the lock correctly without tumblers first, then sand any necessary areas for proper functioning. Print the shackle and one of the chassis pieces, and your operational lock is complete. Change bitting by modifying the scad file, and enjoy a fully customizable design. Note that some parameters require hand-tuning if altered.
