This is a cutting-edge GT2 belt tensioner entirely printed in four distinct parts. The primary objective was to create a balanced design that could be easily installed without having to remove the belts, hence the 2-piece adjustment nut concept. To ensure stability, consider securing the static block with two zipties over its grooves and one ziptie over the adjustment nut once assembled. If not secured properly, the belt or adjustment nut may slip out of place. As an alternative option, you could use a metal M10x1.25 nut instead of the printed one; however, this would require removing the belt to install the tensioner or cutting a slot for the belt to pass through to the side of the nut using a hacksaw or angle grinder. Begin by sliding the moving block onto the static block and attaching them together with the belt in place. Then, insert one half of the assembly nut from one side of the belt and the other half from the opposite side before joining them together. The adjustment nut should be positioned over the static block and pressed against its ring when tightening the nut. Once the assembly is complete, install any necessary zipties to secure everything in place.
