
Fully parametric spice rack

This is a fully parametric spice rack that doubles as a basic drawer system for various purposes. The primary objective was to create railed drawers with an endstop and a structure simple enough to print quickly, yet still able to hold the weight of the top row. The original design configuration featured a 3x2 module with an additional column at double height accommodating the tallest spices. However, my print size limitation led me to split everything into separate pieces. The trays are one piece, and positioning them diagonally allows for a 260mm (+10 from the handle) long tray on a Prusa i3 MK3. The structure is divided into front and back sections, joined by T or L beams that are glued in place. I chose a width of 47mm because it accommodates approximately 99% of my spice containers and fits within the available space. I've generated STL files for various configurations: * An open 3x2 structure (A) * An open 3x2+extra structure (B) * A closed 3x2 structure (C) These files should meet your needs, but you can use the included OpenSCAD file to create custom designs tailored to your dimensions. ## Parameters: * To: Minimum print gap, mainly used for the rail * Ts: Print gap for smooth movement (tray and structure) * Tg: Print gap for two pieces that are to be glued together * Tw: Tray width * Tl: Tray length * Th: Tray height * Wt: Wall thickness, added outside of the previous tray dimensions * Hw: Handle width * Hh: Handle height * Hd: Handle depth * Ht: Handle distance to top * Hx: Handle thickness * Sx: Number of structure units in x * Sy: Number of structure units in y (technically in z, but these print horizontally) * So: Open (1) or closed (0) top most level * Sb: Number of open (no top) structures in addition to Sx x Sy, added to the right * St: Structure thickness (2mm minimum recommended) * Sd: Structure depth * Ss: Slot depth, minimum should be 2mm; adjust accordingly * Sh: Structure height There are several images demonstrating what can be achieved by modifying these parameters.
