Fully Modular N# GPU Mining Rig Railing System

If you've got some extra filament and are looking to 3d print a full size GPU mining rig, you've landed on the right page! This general purpose railing system can be as big, or small as you want, with the ability to integrate fans, power supplies, motherboards, and other features/peripherals. The only things you will need are filament and 3/4" #6 Pan Head Screws, which you can get on Amazon.com or Parts Express for a couple bucks. The #6 screws thread straight into the 3mm wide holes, and bite well without the need for fancy inserts or threading. The end result is EXTREMELY sturdy, and can support my body weight if I stand on the corners. <b>Some Notes:</b> I would recommend using the same brand filament and color, if you have the choice. Different filaments can have different contractions or properties, making the rails and joints not fit well! <b>Make a couple test prints before committing to a whole print bed worth of parts, that may not fit well!</b>. If you look at the photos, a couple of mine cracked because the tolerance was too tight. Simply scaling the parts by 1-2% in your slicer in the appropriate directions should suffice. All rails and joints are precise fit, so if your printer strings or blobs, expect a little resistance. I gave most of my joints a "love tap" to get them into position before tightening with screws :) The basic unit of spacing in all of the rails is 20.3mm, which is the width of one PCIe slot. This means that a PCIe card can screw into any part of the railing system! I would recommend printing all of the parts in PETG or another heat tolerant material! PLA will not stand up with the heat of a GPU miner!!! I printed all of the parts with 2 layer walls, and 20% infill, and it took me about 3 full rolls to print a 6-8 card modular mining rig. I highly recommend assembling the railing in "layers", and also with a power drill on the lowest torque setting. That way you can save your wrist! Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
