Fully mechanical camera slider
thingiverse
I'm designing some fresh content for my upcoming videos, so I decided to build a simple camera slider using an available microphone stand as a guide. One reason I went with this fully mechanical approach is that it doesn't require any power source. To be honest, I was feeling pretty laid-back and didn't want to tackle the challenge of building something with a motor and controller. Plus, I think this mechanical solution is way more captivating. My inspiration came from this project on Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:402412), and I wanted to learn more about its mechanics before applying it to something new.
