Drawing is something that brings me immense joy, especially when it comes to cartoon characters. To help perfect my craft, I created a highly detailed and realistic artistry mannequin to aid in poses and form. Rather than purchasing a generic mannequin from the store, I opted for a more thrilling approach: designing one myself with the help of my 3D printer. Many fellow enthusiasts will attest that printing your own model is far more exhilarating than simply buying one off the shelf. And so, I'm excited to share this project with you all, allowing others to create their very own custom mannequin at home! With strategically designed flat areas for optimal build plate adhesion and minimal use of support material, even complex prints like this 14-jointed model can be achieved with ease on a standard desktop printer.
