Updates: The hook no longer needs any supports whatsoever Measurements have been changed to inches, eliminating conversion needs altogether Files for printing should now lay perfectly flat on any bed surface Special thanks to Hybrid_Potato for providing invaluable feedback! Using an old iPhone as a webcam is essential when monitoring prints remotely, due to poor camera angles; however, this hook invention has allowed me to hang a phone or camera platform in front of the printer, securing it at precise heights and depths by adjusting its axes. The position can be customized in all directions, from top-to-bottom depth and left-right placement for ideal viewing angles. Instructions Like me, you might prefer printing multiple pieces simultaneously; if so, print this all-in-one STL file, which contains all three models needed. If you don't want to combine your prints, it's still okay to separate them. Both the base and hook have holes for assembly. Remove supports from the hook (Simplify3D) using a screwdriver by poking into the inner walls on either side until it slips out. First, assemble this model and attach it in front of your printer; be aware that the narrow tip of the hook fits comfortably between the machine's heat cover and outer casing - if unsure about these parts' alignment, look at the provided pictures! Note: Be advised that measurements may have slightly changed - arm length and bed width are longer than shown in previous pictures. This change occurred after my last photo session when adjustments were made to the STL files.
