Fully 3D printed bearingless fidget spinner
pinshape
This was an experiment to test the effectiveness of a fidget spinner without bearings. To ensure success, I deliberately minimized contact between the two parts to reduce friction and limit their interaction. However, this approach proved unsuccessful as bearings perform significantly better, especially those made from metal. If you're looking for a simpler design that's easier to print, this fidget spinner might be suitable for you. Unfortunately, it only spins for about two seconds before coming to a stop, which is somewhat disappointing. I still found the experiment enjoyable overall.
