Fully 3D printed bearingless fidget spinner
thingiverse
This was an experiment to see how well a fidget spinner would work without any bearings at all. To ensure success, I deliberately minimized contact between the two parts, limiting their interaction and friction as much as possible. However, my findings were clear: bearings are truly better, especially when made of metal. If you're looking for a simple fidget spinner that's easy to print, this one is your best bet. But be warned: it only spins for about two seconds before coming to a stop, which can be frustrating, I admit. Still, the experiment was fun and worth trying.
