Fully 3D printed air engine (no glue, no O-rings, no springs, only filament)
thingiverse
Don't expect anything more than a spinning flywheel from this. It has a lot of leaks by design to make it easy to build and run. I printed it at 0.3mm layer height, did a bit of sanding, and used no glue. I can't measure how fast it spins, but it sounds like 500-900rpm and has no torque. Expect to do a bit of sanding unless you have a perfect printer. The idea with this design is just to be easy to build, and spin from only lounge power, but please, if you need to strain a lot to get the power to run it, do some more sanding; you don't want to pop any arteries (I can run mine from less than breathing, a bit of straining to rev though). if it doesn't run from just the stock flywheel, you can screw m3 screws into the flywheel to add weight. Mine, after running it a bit, can run even without the flywheel.
