UPDATE 3/24/20: The design is now finalized, and several modifications have been made to ensure seamless integration. Clearances were adjusted to optimize fitment, while an additional rib was added to the hub to guarantee secure locking of the wheel in place by the lock disc. A separate TPU tire version has been put on hold for a swivel caster design that will be released soon, prompting modifications to make the wheel stronger through straight ribs. The pin design was also revised. DESCRIPTION: This is a fully 3D-printable caster assembly featuring an integrated print-in-place bearing within the wheel itself. A lock mechanism allows secure engagement by screwing down the lock pin, which tightens the disc lock against the wheel. A spring washer ensures consistent pressure on the disc lock to prevent unintended spinning. The hub bracket's mounting holes are specifically designed for #10 wood/sheetrock screws, as this assembly is intended for direct attachment to a cabinet side.
