Hello! I just discovered Full Thrust, and I'm excited to build my own fleet using my FDM printer. Since it's an FDM-friendly machine, I designed a fleet that's perfect for printing. The project is still in progress; I need to create more ships to complete the generic classifications. I have plans to add various classes of frigates, cruisers, and other vessels. Merchant ships and space stations are also on my agenda. Keep an eye out for future updates! You can download "Phase 1" if the main button fails. I've included a spreadsheet that helps me plan ship sizes and tonnage ratings. I also added a picture showing the recommended orientation for printing the ships. I printed them all at a 45-degree angle, nose up and tail down, using supports only from the build plate - even for the fighters! I used a .2 nozzle for my prints; they turned out well with a .4 nozzle too, except for the fighters. I might create custom bases in the future. For now, I haven't drilled any holes into the ships since there are many different base types available, each with unique mounting sizes. Feel free to use 3D Builder to add your own holes!
