The street stairs photogrammetry scan connects the dock to Cimadevilla. It was built after the Commandancy (1948) in the 1970s. In 1995, a pedestal with a bust of Gijonese sailor Claudio Alvargonzález, hero at the Battle of Abtao in 1865 during the Pacific Campaign, was added.
