Transform a Rubbermaid plastic storage tub into a functional end table by utilizing connector pieces, four small copper pipes, and an overhead lighting grid. This sci-fi grunge styled table features snap-in place top corners with pipe inserts and lock stops. The leg pieces and top corners can be easily printed at resolutions of 200-400 microns with knock off supports. Its compact design integrates storage space into daily living, with removable leg pieces and connectors for access to the storage tub. Disassemble and stow all components inside when moving. This project was created using a $300 Makibox 3D printer. Materials list: 1 x 62-inch half-inch copper tubing, overhead lighting panel grid (24 x 48 inches, also available in chrome), copper tube cutter ($9 at Walmart), and a Roughneck 18-gallon (68-liter) storage box. Copper pipe cut list: 2 x 18 3/8 inches (468 mm), 2 x 12 1/4 inches (310 mm). Lighting grid size cut with small side cutters: 14 1/8 x 19 3/4 inches (360 mm x 502 mm).
