This is a cool little table or plant stand.  I made the top design to demo some cool things I've been doing to get more beautiful 3D prints.   The table can easily hold 30 or 40 pounds.   To get the shape and print to look right you need to break the model in to two separate processes, the first process is .9mm high.   If you are doing a .6MM nozzle, you want to use a .3mm layer height, and slice only the first .9mm using the following settings:0 bottom layers0 top layers150 outline shellsThis creates the texture on the top of the table.   This is VERY wasteful of filament, so we only want to have 3 layers using this setting.     This is what the bottom of the print will look like if you have the settings right:   after .9mm you can do whatever you want, I used 15% hex infill  and then:0 solid layers0 top layers3 outline layersthis creates a VERY strong print with a minimum of waste.  here is what it will Look like: for a .4mm nozzle, use a .2mm layer height and slice the first 1mm you may need to add more shells.  Then use he same settings as above for the next part of the print.  I know this model looks strange, but once you slice it, you'll see how it works.  The beauty of this design is in the slicing. The model shown is 570 grams of plastic, and takes about 24 hours to print with a .6mm nozzle.In the model shown, I just swapped filament after the first few millimeters were done printing. This is totally optional.  I just like the contrast of the top being one color and the sides being another.       the legs are 12 inch long 1 5/8 dowels.The lighting is a Govee Smart LED Strip Lights 16.4ft kit,  any kit of similar length will work, i cut a couple feet of the end to make it fit nicely.  This is the first print I have shared, I hope you enjoy!
