Modeled in Maya 2016, a NURBS sphere and cylinder were used as starting points. Each vertex was moved, rotated, and scaled individually before converting the model into polygons and exporting it as an STL file. In Sketchup, the stem was refined to create a manifold solid, allowing it to be merged with the threaded rod part of "Sphere" by ark19. This remixing process resulted in a more seamless integration of the two components.
