Found this incredible Luger at https://www.myminifactory.com/object/p08-luger-functional-assembly-5545 and the MP40 at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1038339 or https://www.myminifactory.com/object/mp40-23568https://youtu.be/IvAqvsSKfNc. I spent a week reworking these files to fit perfectly on a 200x200 bed using ABS, and the results were incredible. The Luger assembly used 190gms of ABS plastic and about 9.5 hours to print, while each of the other two files took just over 5 hours to print. The MP40 required a whopping 960gms of ABS Plastic and took just over 40 hours to print, but the end result was well worth it. The prints turned out perfectly as full reproduction replicas. All credit goes to the talented designer Daniel Lillygreen for his amazing work. My boys are loving playing World War games in the backyard with these models, and they're getting a real kick out of them. RobV from local Rolleston talent sculpted and painted an additional working part to turn the darker blue of one of the Lugers into an exceptional authentic-looking piece. Note that this is not a functional gun - just a replica model! https://www.thingiverse.com/EDN3RD/makes, Ednerd came up with an awesome way of making the Luger's cocking handle cock back like the original. Check out the pics in the thing files for his brilliant idea - any questions can be directed to him, Cheers Jace.
